The owner of the house ordered his servant, “Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame…Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.” (Luke 14:21-23)

**”If we want to reach people no one else is reaching, we’ve got to do things no one else is doing.”

**There’s a reason people from organizations like DCFS and the  SBC are coming around to see what we’re doing.

We’re serving people who aren’t being taken care of. We’re showing them that Jesus loves them!

Take faith-filled risks

One thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal… (Philippians 3:13-14)

**Most churches—most companies—are afraid to take risks. We have stepped out in faith in many ways, especially in last year. We’ve done things most churches never do in orderto follow God’s command to reach people with the gospel.

Why is it risky?

**Because it’s not comfortable to do new things.

**Because there’s a chance something will go wrong.

**Because some people won’t like it.

Why do we step out in risky faith? We know Jesus is with us!

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

Just bring a breakfast favorite that you’d like to share with everyone. We’re going to have a great time!

Come join us as we worship together this Sunday morning at 10:45!

I (Pastor Richard) told them we would love to be part of this project (which I’ll tell you more about later). The interesting part–the part that made me really proud of the TouchPoint family–is that the other church is 40-50 times bigger than we are! But we are having such an effect on the families that are in the DCFS system that they don’t consider us a “small”church.

The truth is that we even though we are relatively small in numbers, God is using TouchPoint to do big things! God never calls people to build huge congregations. He does call all  of us to do everything we can to share God’s love and salvation with as many people as we can.

I am so proud of the TouchPoint family!

We went there to hand out care packages, donate underwear and socks, and wash people’s feet. It was amazing! And we are going back. Saturday, March 24, we’ll be gathering at the church building at 8 a.m. We will travel down there, and stay until about 1 or 2 p.m. While we’re there, we will wash feet, pass out snacks and love on people.

How can you help? Donate men’s and women’s underwear, Depends, sanitary napkins and socks. (Bring them with you any Sunday until the 24th.) Volunteer to help us put together care packages.  Sign up to make snacks.

Most of all, plan to come on March 24. You can be a part of blessing people who really need to know that God still loves them. I guarantee you that the experience will change you in a good way…

**Fact: We all get beaten up during the week. Sunday morning should be a time when we can encourage each other & remember how great God is.

Healthy homes.

This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. (Ephesians 5:32)

**2 things we’re doing to help families heal and get healthy.

1. Give them a safe place to admit their struggles and seek help.

2. Give them tools and skills so they can continue growing as individuals and families.

**Every healthy family is a testimony to the life-changing power of Jesus!
