Who We Are

Hi!  Welcome to the website for TouchPoint.  Our church is made up of many different people, from many different backgrounds.  You’re likely to see many different ethnic groups represented at our gatherings.  We have young people, and not-so-young people.  Some of our people are married, some are single.  Some folks have little formal education, while others have advanced college degrees.  Our people come from many different income levels.

The one thing that binds us together is the fact that God loves us.  In fact, the Bible says that He loves us so much that He brought us into His family, and made us His children.  You see, despite our external differences, we share one important thing in common: God’s Spirit, working in us to make us more like Jesus.

We take the idea of being part of the family of God very seriously.  We come together to celebrate all that He has done for us.  We help each other learn about Him, and discover His direction for our lives.  We pray for, encourage, love, and support each other as we try to live in a way that puts God first.

We also know that there are a lot of hurting people around us who aren’t yet part of God’s family.  That’s why we seek opportunities to help those around us.  We want everyone around us to know the Good News that they can experience new life through Jesus Christ.
